Inauguration of the Hostel du Père Pedro

Hostel Du Père Pedro Madagascar

In April 2023, we traveled to Madagascar again. Part of this trip was devoted to the finalization and inauguration of the Father Pedro Solidarity Hostel, on which Laure worked as an interior designer on a voluntary basis.

It was a moving moment for the teams who worked so hard on the subject, to see the finished result, and to be surrounded and congratulated for this superb work.

In one year, the construction site has progressed incredibly, with landscaped outdoor spaces, and beautiful common areas and bedrooms!

Entrance and living room:

The living room with a profusion of pretty raffia cushions, lamps which give warmth above a beautiful stone table.

In the common areas, relaxation areas with a colorful round carpet and two armchairs brightened up by raffia cushions. On the wall, a raffia lace work by Sylvia.

Outdoor spaces: terraces & rooftops at the top!

On April 28, we had an opening ceremony under the sun, presided over by Father Pedro with touching speeches. The Hostel has been welcoming visitors since 2023, and the benefactors of this work are still active in making it known and helping with its management.

Father Pedro opens the ceremony with great spirituality / The team of architects, decorators and hoteliers who carried out this project / The traditional ribbon cutting.

The speeches were punctuated by dances from the children of Akamasoa, dressed in their most beautiful costumes and smiles.

Book your stay!

An unforgettable and intense moment in a distant country but full of humanity and surprises. This stay in Father Pedro's solidarity hotel will be a great gesture of solidarity, and can be the first step before the varied and sublime destinations that the Island offers.

Pop-up store en avril
