Blue braids add contrast to this intermediate-sized rug that fits easily into a small entryway, bedroom, bathroom, etc. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She creates the shade of the raffia herself. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid around itself as she goes along. This is why the rugs are round. It takes 2 weeks to make a rug 1.70 meters in diameter.
