Rigid satrana basket - Julienne

Palm basket called satrana, untinted, rigid.

Satrana is a palm tree from Madagascar, also used to make rope objects.

Its appearance is smoother and shinier than raffia. It is also more rigid.

It takes a day to make this basket. Its color is natural, between gray, off-white and pale yellow.

It can be used as a wastebasket, or a pot holder. Be sure to have a waterproof container inside to isolate it from the humidity of the plant.
