Round raffia rug - Holda

Round rug with a diameter of 190 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Holda from the Rouge Beauté association.

This lively and explosive model combines shades of pink, blue, yellow and purple for a rainbow effect.

Each rug is unique!

Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will make it up. She dyes the raffia herself. Once the raffia is dried, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid on itself as she goes.

This is why the rugs are round.

It takes almost 3 weeks to make a carpet 1.90 meters in diameter.
