Round rug, 200 cm in diameter, made of raffia, hand-woven by Mélanie from the Rouge Beauté association in Madagascar. A contrasting model that vibrates black and white with a spiral of natural and black raffia. A strong and easy-to-live-with piece. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She herself makes the shade of the raffia. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid on itself as she goes along. This is why the rugs are round. It takes almost 3 weeks to make a rug 2 meters in diameter.
