Round raffia rug - Séraphine

Round rug with a diameter of 100 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Séraphine from the Rouge Beauté association.

This model combines natural raffia and black-dyed raffia.

Each rug is unique!

Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will make it up. She dyes the raffia herself. Once the raffia is dried, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid on itself as she goes.

This is why the rugs are round.

It takes 1 week to make a carpet 1 meter in diameter.
