Set of 6 brown & natural sisal placemats, handmade by Nirina. The craftswomen of this association create their own models entirely by hand. These sisal placemats have a large diameter of 40 cm, which allows you to place large plates on them and create a magnificent decoration on your table. Sisal is a type of agave, a palm tree from Madagascar. The fiber inside is extracted by cutting the leaf lengthwise, it is dried and can be dyed and braided. The resulting appearance is very particular: soft, silky, it looks like horsehair (very well combed!!). To maintain the sets: shake them, or even vacuum them. Avoid water or use a barely damp sponge and dry flat. Warm and soft placemats for a top table decor!
