Set of 6 placemats made from satrana palm from Madagascar. This plant fiber is extracted from the palm and dried and braided by hand using an ancestral method. When dried, it becomes rigid. Its appearance is smooth, the natural color takes on shades of off-white with touches of soft green. Two artisans from the Rouge Beauté association with which we collaborate created these placemats: Julienne and Lucienne. Satrana requires a very specific technique, which is completely different from raffia braiding. Their smooth, natural-colored appearance easily matches a rough table or tablecloth. The satrana is easy to maintain, the sets can be cleaned with a sponge! Diameter 40 cm
