Orange, brown and black round raffia rug – 200 cm

Round rug with a diameter of 200 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Fine from the Rouge Beauté association in Madagascar. A strong and contrasting model, orange, brown and black, which electrifies the decoration of a room and goes well with the warm tones of wood. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She herself makes the shade of the raffia. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid on itself as she goes. This is why the rugs are round. It takes almost 3 weeks to make a rug 2 meters in diameter.
