Natural round raffia rug, orange-red and brown – 200 cm

Round rug with a diameter of 200 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Ando from the Rouge Beauté association. A model interweaving undyed natural-coloured raffia with tones of orange-red and brown. Each rug is unique! Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will compose it. She herself makes the shade of the raffia. Once the raffia is dry, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and winding this braid on itself as she goes. That's why rugs are round. It takes about 3 weeks to make a 2-meter diameter carpet.
