Hand-woven raffia basket by Bao from the Rouge Beauté association. Raffia is a plant from Madagascar, the extracted fiber of which is long and strong. The raffia is dried, dyed and woven by hand by the craftswomen who create unique pieces. It takes two days to make a basket of this size. This basket combines yellow and natural-coloured raffia. It can be used as a cachepot for a pretty indoor plant. In this case, you must protect the base with a saucer or a deep plate, because the basket is not watertight.
