Round raffia rug - Véro

Round rug with a diameter of 190 cm in raffia, hand-woven by Véro of the Rouge Beauté association.

A strong and contrasting model with this bright red mat which interweaves with blue, yellow, purple colors... A rug with character to give a colorful and ethnic chic touch to a room.

Each rug is unique!

Each craftswoman imagines her rug and the colors that will make it up. She dyes the raffia herself. Once the raffia is dried, she creates a long braid, which she continues by adding strands of raffia and wrapping this braid on itself as she goes.

This is why the rugs are round.

It takes almost 3 weeks to make a carpet 1.90 meters in diameter.
