Round raffia basket - Jeannette

Raffia is a plant from Madagascar, whose extracted fiber is long and strong.

The raffia is dried, dyed and woven by hand by the artisans who create unique pieces. It takes two days to make a basket of this size.

This contrasting basket with a mottled pattern goes easily into an entryway, a bathroom or a bedroom for storing laundry or a small mess!
